| I use Canon digital cameras, primarily the Canon 5D MKII and T2i but also the 1Ds MkIII, 1Ds MkI, D60, G6 and 450D. Aside from differences in sensor size and form factor, each camera yields a file with a distinct character, much like different films do in film cameras, so each camera has advantages in particular situations.
My digital darkroom is comprised of an Apple MacBook Pro (with a separate 23" LCD monitor) running Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.
I back up all RAW images to two sets of DVD's (one onsite and one offsite) and three sets of hard drives, two onsite and one offsite.
I print on the Canon iPF 6300 large format printer, primarily on Canon matte papers.
Since 2002, I have travelled several weeks every year in the backcountry with a self-gathered compact solar charging system that allows me to keep my cameras and laptop running without access to the grid.
